# Sigma Phi Delta — Beta-Nu Chapter (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo)

> The Beta-Nu Chapter of Sigma Phi Delta, the premier international professional-social fraternity for engineers, at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Founded nationally on April 11, 1924 at USC; the Beta-Nu Chapter was chartered at Cal Poly in 1962. Motto: *Pro Bono Professionis* — "For the Good of the Profession."
